Hello!
Years of first day ice breaking games in public schools have prepared me for this introduction. I'm Jeni. I have a bachelors of fine art. A fun fact about me is that I've accidentally cut my finger with a baby carrot. This was secretly two truths and a lie. The lie was that public education had prepared me for this introduction. Moving forward... Discovering new ways to manipulate an image has taken myself directly into the recently resurrected world of analogue photography. Individual personalities are inherently born into artworks that come from using alternative processing. These anomalies help me communicate and ramble around areas of memory, identity, landscape, and abstraction. Older techniques of capturing and creating imagery have a lot more to give to this world than to be retired and used as dust collectors. Of course, I respect digital photography as well and continue that practice alone or in combination with analogue. A shared goal amongst artist is to create discussion. If you have any questions at all ,would like to know more about myself, my works, or would like to drop a friendly “hello” I would love to hear from and respond to you! You can do this by shooting me an e-mail at [email protected] or using the “contact” page on this website. Love, Jeni |
